Imaging/Archiving Department
Program analyst duties covered
a wide variety of tasks including web design, graphic

based training courses, PowerPoint presentations and
database design for our commercial and government customers.
These skills were usually intermixed for projects. Projects
included newsletters, marketing brochures, handouts and

Occasionally photography skills were needed. As part of the
publications department I also handled formatting,
converting, linking, and scanning documents and developing

Webmaster/ Graphic
Designer
Custom Computers &
Networks Bloomfield, IN
Custom Computers & Networks was
a local provider for Internet services and web design. My
most prominent duty included designing web sites for local
businesses and organizations. Our clients included the
Greene County Network (GreeNet), Bloomfield State Bank,
Hi-Lift Jack Company, Brandon Boston’s Terriers, Mectra
Labs, and Greene County Hospital. Other duties included
basic office manager duties such as customer support, new
customer sign-up, account creation and the monthly billing
process. I also handled all of the company’s advertising
needs including writing and recording local radio ads.
Graphic Designer
Copytime/Osler
Institute, Terre Haute, IN
As a graphic designer at
Copytime my main function was to format medical related
documents into a single, uniform layout. Continuity of
printed materials such as speakers’ notes, training material
and advertising flyers was stressed most strongly. This
position also included all the basic graphic design aspects
such a s scanning, layout and printing.
Videographer/Legal
Video Specialist
Sara Sergeant Court
Reporting Services, Johnstown, PA
The position of videographer
for this court reporting service included responsibilities
of video taping the depositions of special witnesses. This
included going on location, along with the legal court
reporter and attorneys to set up and record the deposition
to be played back in court at a later time. While the need
for creative abilities was small, the technical abilities
included pre-testing all equipment before leaving for job,
set-up and testing of equipment beforehand and taping the
video and audio while the deposition was taking place. All
depositions required attorneys and the witness to be wired
with a microphones and video taped with two different
cameras. This position involved very little supervision as
only one videographer was assigned to a deposition.
Graphic Designer
The Yuma Daily Sun
Newspapers (Cox Corporation), Yuma, AZ
The duties and positions I held
at the newspaper evolved as I got more experience with the
daily running of a newspaper business. I began in the
paste-up department assembling layouts, then advancing to
the designing area of graphic artist where I designed ads
for the daily run newspaper as well as special section
advertising, special interest weekly publications for the
military and seniors. Designing, layout and typesetting of
ads and special section covers where my main duties. This
included handling PMT camera work such as half-tone screens
and PMTs. During this time I also served as a back-up, on
demand, person to help in the ad coordinator area, page
layout department and pre-press camera area. Eventually I
moved on to the advertising department of the newspaper as
the assistant to the major accounts manager and the
coordinator for the Co-Op advertising program. These
positions in the advertising department required scheduling,
budgeting and researching skills as well as speculative
advertising layout. The Yuma Daily Sun is a 40,000+ daily
run newspaper which includes weekly publications such as the
Cactus Comet (military interests), Foothills News (senior
interests) and Baja El Sol (Mexican-American interests) .
